When do you handle your Balls/Royals?
I was just wondering about this, I came accross a few posts where people said they never handle after dark because their snakes associate it with being fed. I always thought it was better not to bother them during the day but now i'm curious!

Honestly it has more to do with when she looks comfortable than when I want to, at least for now. I'm still very new to this, but I've held her in the morning, daytime, and evening before. I haven't ever held her at night. But if there's a time where she's curiously coming up to me, I will definitely pick her up.

I usually handle mine during the evening or night time, during her active hours. I try and let her sleep during the day. Today i was doing some maintenance on her tank and she seemed active so i pulled her out and handled her but generally its a nighttime thing for me.

Yeah me too. My baby is very pet-rock-like so I dont usually see her actually out and slithering around but at night she lays her head outside of her hide. I get off work at 11p so I usually get her out and hang out with her a bit when I get home. Sometimes tho in the day if I am doing something in her cage like spot cleaning or changing her water she comes out to see what I'm doing. It's so cute.

I usually handle mine in the evening when its a bit quieter around here (3 kids under 10) and he is coming out to explore or hunt.

Evening/night after work, except on the weekends. Heck I've cleaned enclosures at 0200 before; the "event" was loud enough to wake me up.

I handle mine whatever time of day it's convenient for me.
I know there are some species that can be more difficult to handle at night, but BPs aren't one. I've never observed any behavioral differences handling BPs day vs evening.

Mine seems to enjoy watching my boyfriend play apex. She stretches out on the couch and scopes at the tv. Haha so cute
