I have a female, 4 year old, 1300 gram, 4.5 foot bp. Her name is Tequila. She lives in a 4 foot vivexotic vivarium and has 3 hides, a water bowl she fits in, and a vine to stretch out upon. Currently using a layer of newspaper, then reptile carpet, and some moss and orchid bark. She’s normally in her bowl or one of her hides, and if out is either pressed against the glass or hanging on the vine.

I often take her out and put her on our bed or couch or pile of blankets, where she seems to like to fully stretch out and get comfy. She doesn’t appear panicked, but rather “chilled out”.

Could it it be possible she likes the softness of the blankets? If so, could I use similar as bedding in her vivarium safely? Of course this would mean frequent washes, but that’s not a problem.

Thanks,
TM
