    Not using warm side?

Ever since I got a second UTH a couple weeks ago to help bring up my cool side temps for winter, my 4ish m/o bamboo female only hangs out on the cool side, even after feeding.
Floor temps are(taken from surface w/ temp gun):
    Hot side: 88-90°F
    Cool side: 77-80°

    Ambient temp is around 75°
Humidity is a bit high, around 70% because the substrate is pretty fresh, but dropping steadily each day. I cover most of the lid when it gets down to 65%

Substrate: eco earth/forest floor/sphagnum moss mixture

Both hides are identical, the pangaea black box style

Would you say this is normal behavior or do I need to change something in my setup?

    Thanks!

That's normal behavior. My BPs pretty much only use their warm hides to digest or if going into shed. Other than that they're in their cool side hides the vast majority of the time.

The couple bps I have pretty much do the same thing and sometimes not even to digest. Which begs the question are we keeping them too warm in captivity? I've seen threads like this before and the general consensus is that most bps rarely use their warm side. It's just something I've always wondered.

Yeah I have seen a few other threads on here also asking. I just thought it was weird she didnt even go over to digest. Feeding night was yesterday and she just backed right up into her cool hide again after she was done. Before I got the second uth she was nearly always on her hotspot as I'm sure it was a bit too chilly over on the cool side. (Could not get it above 75) but now that it's a balmy 80° most of the time she loves it over there
