    Project snake room...completed.

Started this Sunday. Finished it today. It’s not the prettiest, and it’s not meant to be. But it should be effective. Basement is 61 degrees right now. Inside the snake room is 65.7. It’s set up to utilize my existing heat duct to my bedrooms. There’s a pre existing vent in the duct work in the rafters of the basement. My furnace hasn’t even kicked on yet and it’s at that temp. Gives me hope. Trying to avoid space heaters. Time will tell. Used 1 1/2 foam board all around. Even under the floor, which is built up. Foil taped the seams of the walls and ceiling. 8x8 room. Whole project ran me $476.83
