Yes, he looks healthy too...so nice when they eat right away.

Welcome, you have a very cute little noodle, I remember when my ball python was that little, they grow so fast so make sure you take lots of pictures.

Re: My New Noodle
Oh, forgot to mention I weighed him to and he is now 127g. So he's gained 4oz. Tomorrow is feeding day.

Re: My New Noodle
Fed Jake last night. He ate a 19g rat pup. Not a great photo but he is locked up on his rat. Took him a bit to figure out how to swallow it lol, he kept trying to eat it from the middle. He finally figured it out though and got it down!

Re: My New Noodle
If he doesn't manage to shift it you could put him in a damp (low thread count i.e. cheap ) pillowcase knotted shut and leave him in the cool end of his enclosure overnight.
Their attempts to escape usually help shift the shed get started.

Re: My New Noodle
He was rubbing his head on his hide some last night after he ate so maybe the higher humidity and the stretching of his mouth to eat loosened it up. I will check on him tomorrow evening. I don't usually mess with him for a couple of days after he eats.

Re: My New Noodle
I soaked him last night and tried to get the skin off his head. I got a little off but wasn't very successful. Tonight I soaked him for a little longer and was able to get most of not all the remaining skin off his head and around his mouth ( he was not a happy camper). I know I got one eye caps off and I'm hoping I got both. I'm going to let him chill for a couple of days before I mess with him again
