He didn’t go into his hide last night, he put himself into the ceramic log that’s in the middle of the viv.
I’ve been putting him back into his hide but he just keeps coming back out.

Maybe the hide is too warm or too cold or too small ??
Can you share pictures of your entire setup? Sometimes snakes can be picky about hides. He may not like the top opening on the one in the pic. The half logs don’t work well for snakes either imo. They need dark hides with a single opening.
