Pink spot under BP’s jaw
While I know this forum isn’t something to fully rely on for health related things. However, I was wondering if anyone has seen this on their ball pythons before.
This appeared just a day or two ago and the rest of his body is just fine and he is acting totally normal, only his “chin” has this small pink area. I have no idea what caused it and if anyone might know what this is that would be awesome.

I just edited it, so hopefully the photo shows up now.

Probably just a little bruise from rubbing or bumping chin on something.

I'm not sure if it's just my eyes since the photo is a little unclear, but are those little specks I see in between the scales where they are pinkish? If so, you may want to try spreading the scales with two fingers to get a better look because they could be mites. If you run your fingers over the snake do you feel any bumps? From photos I've seen, snakes with mites can often have pinkish spots from irritation and rubbing.

That’s what I initially thought they were and freaked out, but upon checking them they did not move, he hasn’t been soaking and I haven’t found any in his enclosure. I have soaked him just in case though.

I wondered the same thing, but the specks are SO tiny, I figured more likely just cage debris. Pays to stay vigilant though.
