Re: What type of enclosures do you use?
Right now both Pip and Evan are kept in plastic tubs, though when thry get larger I'm getting them aquariums (but I don't have them yet. Pip will be getting his for Christmas as a gift from my mother, not too me, but too the snake).

Re: What type of enclosures do you use?
I have a couple of racks, but this is the newest one that sits in the middle of my living room (where a normal person would have an entertainment center) ha ha.

Thats a good looking rack, pretty much exactly the size and number of enclosures I want, looks like a purchased one? Where did you get it?

Re: What type of enclosures do you use?
That is a mix and match freedom breeder. They live an hour up the road from me. I only do 5 or 6 levels since I'm short and I don't need my snakes looking down on me any more than they already do.
The little black one to the side has my babies in it, it's an AP economy rack and it rocks for the little 'uns.
Cheers,
Kat

looks good. I'll be looking into a rack as soon as I get my current cage project done.

Re: What type of enclosures do you use?
I've got a crazy mix right now: 2 aquariums, one custom wood cage, and two plastic tubs. Eventually I want to switch over to both a rack system and more custom wood cages, and no more with the aquariums for me!

Re: What type of enclosures do you use?
I am currently using one tank, one homemade MDF enclosure, and a 4 tub rack that I made but will be bringing home an 8 tub custom rack that I am almost done this week.

I'm actually about to invest in an AP Economy...didn't realize they were so small though, can they house adult BP's, maybe some of the smaller Boas?

Re: What type of enclosures do you use?
I would not recommend the AP economy for adult bp's. We use them ( and love them) for the babies (in 2 -15 qt rubbermaid per row) and for juveniles up to about 400 grams (1 - 32 qt rubbermaid per row). Once they get bigger than that, the bins are just too small for them to move around and 'stretch' in. So then they get moved to the big rack.
