Two or Three Questions

My snake has not gone into shed yet since posting this and as well has not pooped still. He is staying in a hide throughout the day and night.

Unless you're staying up all night (& I HOPE not!?), you can't be sure your snake is staying in his hide 24/7....but sometimes they do & usually that's when they're in
a shedding cycle. It can take a while. And snakes don't defecate all that often either -which is nice for those of us cleaning up after them. Seriously, younger snakes
are usually eating younger rodents (w/ less fur & smaller bones) that are more digestible with less waste to get rid of later. Don't worry... Snakes don't lead the most
"exciting lives" you know...
