My issue with arboreal or semi arboreal is I plan on using tubs and the ones I bought arent tall enough.

Hoggies, kings & milk snakes would be better choices then...they're terrestrial types. You mentioned corns I think? they are climbers & less suited to tubs, IMO.
Rosy boas are more ground-dwelling too & don't get bigger than about 40" (females are bigger than the males).

I may change my mind yet again and go with balls. It's not that I don't like balls, it's just that they are soooooooo popular. Everyone has a ball python. I like to stick with species that aren't kept by everyone.
The thing is I want to use tubs. I've done tanks, and wood enclosures, and they are a pain to keep clean. At least with the tub its light enough to hose it down, then wipe with disinfectant. Not only that, but I like that people cant really see into them.
Plus the space they save is incredible. I've also been thinking about keeping some ksb.
