    Well, there is a normal.

I don't think there are other morphs of nelson's milksnakes.

    Re: Question about milksnakes?¿

I've been trying to google information on the history of the Nelson's Milksnake without much success. There are lots of different kinds of milksnakes but I can't find out so far why this one is called a "Nelson's". So far the only kinds of Nelson's I've ever found are the normal, the albino and the normal het for albino. There are some that have a bit of odd patterning but are basically either normals or albino's with some difference in their markings.

A man named Nelson originally described the species. This is the case with any animal with a name like 'Nelson's'. There is a Ruthven's kingsnake.. same thing.

Ahhh thanks Shelby. I figured it was that sort of thing but couldn't find any history on this particular milksnake online. Lovely looking snakes, both the normal and the albino. I'm sure Luke and Beth, as well as the whole family will enjoy keeping them.
