    Bad Day!

So it’s 102 degrees at my house. Last night the AC went out while I was at work. I sent word to my wife to unplug the snake racks. At this point it was 88 degrees in my house. We located a window AC unit to put in my bedroom (where the snakes are). Waiting on the service tech now. If the window unit craps out I’ll be moving my rack into my truck and let it idle with the AC going until the issue is resolved. Not fun!!

Hope your snakes will be fine, I have the opposite issue where I live up in Canada. It never gets to a point where it would ever be too hot for my ball python. All I have to worry about is the power going out in the winter as it gets really cold, my snake has 4 heat pads in his tank for the winter just to keep up, 2 mediums (my store doesn't sell large) which are on the hot side and 2 small ones on his cold side just to get it to the proper temperature. Hope your window AC unit doesn't crap out, that would really suck having 2 AC units go out on the same day, especially such a hot one.

The funny thing is, my wife jokingly said “you care more about the snakes being hot than you do me” I almost messed up and admitted how much I really paid for all of them! Lol

Just tell here it was like $1,000 snake and u only paid the actual price of $300. A lot of women, and some men lol, they think it’s a great deal if it’s on sale

Hope you all (humans & snakes & any other critters) stay safe & in a comfortable temp. range & get this fixed soon. Heat sure is scary when you lose your A/C.

If any of you were wondering, a new package unit to replace my AC system is $7250. That should be illegal in America.

Ouch! My turn is coming one of these days, my system is fairly old...your budget has my sincere sympathy. I've already priced them, pretty much the same here.
