Water. You can use a bit of mild soap in water to help remove feces, or white vinegar to remove urates from cage or water bowl (it also removes hard water
deposits), but either of those you'll need to rinse thoroughly.
Beyond that, many if not most of us that have multiple reptiles use very diluted disinfectant, either generic chlorhexidine (sold at most feed stores), or F10 (a
more modern, somewhat stronger veterinary disinfectant available online from sources like Reptile Basics etc.-F10 is more expensive & if you only have a pet
or 2, chlorhexidine is just fine, IMO). Nolvasan (a much pricier version of chlorhexidine) has been around quite a while, also used by vet clinics, but again, it's
over-kill for a few pets (& if you're not breeding reptiles). All of these products go a LONG ways, you dilute them greatly in water, spray on (wait about 15-20
minutes for maximum germ killing), then wipe off with NO rinsing needed, there's no smell or irritating fumes. All are excellent, & easy to use. You can buy
a clean spray bottle to use, where home cleaning products are sold (Big Lots, most grocery stores, Walmart, etc).
Bleach is a very strong germ-killer but it's a last resort (not for routine cleaning), as it's HARD to rinse off the irritating fumes (sometimes impossible), even
when it's diluted (depending on what you use it on); no smell can remain, it's toxic to reptiles (and us too).

I only have a few pets, but i found it worth it to spend $25 or so on a small container of F10 concentrate. It really does go a LONG way. I have more than 2/3 of a bottle left and and have been using it for over a year. (started when I got my beardie about 18 months ago).

A little of either goes a long way, so if you only have a few snakes to clean, don't buy a gallon of the stuff. Eventually it would lose effectiveness sitting around too
long & they're best kept away from light also.
