    Fruit

I heard that commercial baby food contains too much sugar to be fed regularly. What would you use then. Would getting a couple fruits and blending it into a mash in the blender be good.

    Re: Fruit

any fresh fruit except citrus fruits (too much ascorbic acid) are great. they especially like peaches, strawberries, mango and supposedly watermelon though i have not personally tried it. if the mix is too chunky i find that my cresteds just lick around the chunks rather than eating them, so the smoother and thinner the mix the better.
