Awesome pictures, the little ball pythons look like big Burmese when comparing it to the dolls size. I always enjoy your cute pictures of snakes on tiny furniture, it's just so adorable.

Heh, it's the pocket-sized version of the Burmese python experience. If they didn't have the proportionately big heads of juvenile BPs, the illusion would be even more convincing! And thank you, I'm always on the lookout for more fun (but safe!) props to photograph my snakes with.

Though you'd never know it now, I was also totally not a doll person through my childhood or teen years, haha. I somehow fell into the hobby in ... college, I think? These types of ball-jointed dolls mainly originate in Japan, South Korea, and China, and I do remember seeing them in a shop window in Beijing (where my mother's side of the family lives) and going "whoa ..."

It certainly gave me a real springboard for artsy-craftsy shenanigans -- taking photos, sewing clothes for them, hunting for miniature props and furniture in antique stores, you name it. And now my snakes get to reap the benefits! (Except for the clothes. I don't think they want clothes.)

This looks awesome and really cool! Your photoshoots are the best, I'm always so impressed by how well you theme and colour coordinate them, and the creative ideas you come up with!
