Re: What does reduced pattern mean in bps?

Reduced pattern is a more cleaner Ball python. A reduced pattern doesnt have what I call, so many "ALIEN" eyes. A bunch of the circles you see on many Ball pythons are not sometimes seen on reduced. The brown golden bands are completly filled covering a full percentage of that area. I dont know If I painted a good picture and description of what is a reduced pattern bp. Hope that helps.

crisstyle21, you're right about the alien eyes, i never really noticed it until now. i always just assumed that my girl had extra cute eyes.

reduced pattern just looks cleaner, less splotches, and they're a little bit more expensive than 'normal' balls

Re: What does reduced pattern mean in bps?

Yeah, pretty much no spots in the brownish areas id the definition of a reduced bp.

THis is my reduced bp. Notice the lack of spots?
I really like the cleaner look of reduced.
