    Ball Python Scale Damage

I made the huge mistake of not knowing not to use tape in my snakes enclosure. I think I got lucky as I got the tape off relatively easy. I just wanted someone else to look at his scales they do not appear to be damaged, but I just want someone else to let me know he is ok. I have since removed all the tape in the enclosure. I know I am stupid for having it in there in the first place. Thanks for the help.

Pretty far away to tell anything, but I suspect he's just fine. Any minor damage to scales will work itself out with another shed or two.
And don't 'beat yourself up' over this...you're not the first & you sure won't be the last. He's a handsome BP, by the way.

I can't see anything in the pics. Since I'm not there I can't definitively say the snake is fine, but from here I see nothing to worry about.

Don't beat yourself up. Learn from the mistake and grow. Best wishes moving forward.

The tape was on his head you can see that some of the scales look a little different than the others.

Ok thanks for the input! He doesn't seem to be acting any different and he ate this week so I am pretty sure he is ok as well just wanted some other opinions.

I thought it might be the head scales you were asking about (I could vaguely make out)...but again, not close enough, & not a big deal anyway.
