I store all of my frozen rodents at the bottom bin of my personal freezer. Some are opened, some are still sealed. These were all purchased air sealed by the supplier months ago.
Today I went to open a bag of frozen rat fuzzies when I discovered they were not frozen. They were soft and cold to the touch, some covered in blood. Then I found the same problem with my other unopened tray of small mice. All are covered in blood and soft to the touch.
Wtf happened? The opened bags are fine. Again, they were all in the bottom bin. The fridge was working fine. The opened and unopened frozen meat for people in the upper bins are fine.
Can I still use these or should I toss them out?
