When I first got him he was 196 grams. Now he is 254. He is about 228 grams empty. The initial 196 was within 3 days of feeding. So I think he gained about 32 grams so far. that is 32 grams in 3.5 months. He did skip some meals, but overall he gained about 16% in 3 months. its about 5% every month. This coming month I will keep track of his weight and see if he gains another 5%.

Thank you.
He is very calm. Yesterday was the first time I've ever seen him freak out a bit, and thrash around. I was trying to help him shed, as it was a partial shed. The way I was holding him I wasn't really giving him the support he needed, so he freaked out a little bit, but once he realized I was just trying to help him shed he calmed down and allowed me to help him shed. I know why the shed was a partial shed. Yesterday morning I forgot to mist the enclosure before I left for work. Luckily he was able to get the eye caps and head part of the shed off. I just had to help him a bit with the rest.
Overall he is an absolute joy to handle. I've almost got him to the point where I can just sit him on my lap and play starcraft. He will just sit there. He also gets to go in bed with us now and then. He really enjoys slithering through the covers. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, he is like a puppy dog. I've never heard him hiss, nor has he puffed up at me when holding him. He does puff up a bit when I go to get him. 3 days ago he struck at me for the first time. It was my fault though. I pulled out the tub too fast, and it scared him. Plus he was in shed so its not like he could see very well. Once I pulled him out with the snake hook he was good to go.
I couldn't have asked for a snake with a better disposition. I have to say that my boa is more high strung than my blood. Which is very strange, but it works.
