Humidifier for my Ball Python

As the title suggest I wanted to know your guy's thoughts on the Zoo Med humidifier. I'm having trouble keeping my humidity in the 50s-60s it usually sits around low 40s after I mist itll stay in the 55 range for an hour or so. I read that some people keep their humidifiers on a timer and that would be ideal for me since I am not how most of the day. Any advice would be great, thanks!

I use a room humidifier in my snake room during the cold weather months. There are plenty of other tricks to keep humidity up too.

32x18x12 exo terra glass tank, 100w heat lamp, two heat pads on both sides of the tank, one for the warm side, one for the cool. Aspen bedding an a large water bowl.

Itll help greatly to change your substrate. Cypress mulch or a coconut substrate will hold humidity much better. Aspen isn’t great for humidity

Like said above, changing substrate will go a LONG way.
You can also add a 2nd water bowl.
Another great trick for heat and humidity control is to wrap the enclosure in foam board insulation.

I put a towel cut to the size of the top and it helped a ton! And yes swap ur substrate

I also use a humidifier in my snake‘s enclosure but I would only recommend using a humidifier if you really have tried everything else. From what I can see you‘ve already gotten quite a few useful tips so I‘m just gonna elaborate on what to do if you choose to get a humdifier.
I‘ve never used the ZooMed humidifier because it seems a bit overprized in my opinion. One problem that occurs with a humidifier that only humidifies one spot in the whole enclosure is that the substrat might turn wet. This should definitely be avoided at any cost. So you would have to move the humidifier from time to time. You will also need to use destilled water.
Just like any heat source has to be regulated, a humidity source needs to be regulated as well. A timer is insufficient. You wouldn‘t put a timer on a CHE or a heat mat. If you want to use a humidifier, you need to have a humidity switch. Weird humidity spikes/lows will not be good for your snake‘s health which is why a timer is simply not enough.
