I use dimmers now, but I'm fed up with them and I'm switching to thermostats.. worth the extra money!

    Re: Thermostat?

not to rain on your parade and it sounds like your choosing to do the right thing now...but what is the rush to "get a bunch of snakes"? Definately need to have the setup FIRST and the right equipment. It sounds like your making good decisions now but in earlier posts it sounded like you where kinda jumping into things that where not well thought out. Not to offend...again sounds like your on the right track now.

If your wanting to save money building a rack is pretty cheap, if you don't have the know-how it shouldn't be hard to find someone who can look at a few pieces of plywood and invision the finished product...like my step father whom I recruited to help me build my first rack.

    Re: Thermostat?

i use the helix and the herpstat both. both work great, helix has been around longer. i had one problem with one herpstat, i'd like to say though it was handled and fixed very quickly and professionally, no problems with my other herpstats or helix's.
