    Camera flashes

How do you think snakes feel when you take a picture of them and you're using a flash?
I kind of feel bad like I'm blinding him cuz I know it blinds me sometimes!

Probably gives them a wee fright, but I know their vision isn’t great to begin with. I don’t use flash if I can help it lol

I don't like being photographed with flash either haha. It's probably unpleasant for them especially since they are nocturnal and their eyes are made for seeing in the dark.

I've never had a snake even respond to a flash. They just continue with whatever they were doing like it never happened. I almost never use flash though, it always makes the pictures (phone camera) look off to me. I've found other ways to get nice pictures.

I've never noticed any of mine flinch or react at all when I use my flash
