    No, actually, they can't lol. The oldest mouse ever recorded died at four, and the average pet mouse usually only makes it to two with good care. It's really sad rats & mice have such short lifespans, they're truly amazing, personable animals that can leave real impacts on people (though I've never personally kept mice, I love my rats to the moon and back )

    And I totally agree, I could never feed live consistently, I'd be overrun with mice within a few weeks!

    Luckily, mice are easily found at most pet stores. Add the male in with Lucky. Hopefully he will get lucky. Luckily, mice breed fairly easy from what I've been lucky enough to hear. If your lucky, Lucky will give birth and you'll have some some tiny Luckys!

    This is why I have Degu live longer than rats and mice and just as intelligent
