    Yes.. I am trying to fatten her up currently, but was expressing general guidelines and didn't say anything finalized- I even stated it all depends on aging and size. Attached a weight chart as well. Was only trying to help.

    Don't be too worried about it. At the end of the day, they are all different and grow at different rates (sex, age, length, conditions, birth, breeding, etc all factor in). It sounds like he might be a little older than you thought anyways, which would again affect which weight he "should" be!

    I still stand by just trying to offer him a small amounts of food over time. He's smart enough to eat when he's hungry and fast when he's not and will balance out his weight eventually Being a little chubby is better than starving too, so don't feel too bad!!

    He was definitely young when I got him (May 2018) but I can't seem to find his hatch date so yes, I guess he could be older than I think.
    This is kinda breaking my heart - I did so much research and had so much anxiety making sure I was taking good care of him and sounds like I still wasn't doing the right thing for him.
    I truly appreciate your help!!
