Well I won’t be collecting my new albino on Friday as I’ve had to move my reptiles to a new location as my place is complete without power
Such a good day good day. Thankfully I have people close to help me

No I’m in uk, each apartment has water tank in the loft space each tank has a ball valve on it once ball valve gets high the water stops topping up, ball valve failed so it went out the overflow pipe which also failed so the ceiling got flooded and collapsed.
Happy bloody days my landlord has only stopped the leak he hasn’t even put heaters and dehumidiers in to dry the building out.

Wow...I never thought to have things like a water heater was a good idea in the higher point but I am no architect. *shrug* That and my area in Florida typically keeps plumbing low and electrical components high. Looks about as much fun as when I had to lay down new piping to our mainline because the landscaper thought putting the oak tree over the mainline connection was just the grandest idea...(40 years later and we have issues)
Hope everything works out and is also very fast to fix.

Oh nooooo, sorry your place & plans got totally messed up! I've never heard of water tanks in the attic (loft space) either. My water tank is in the garage
& if it ever breaks, there's even a drain in the garage floor. That's awful... Wishing you a speedy clean-up & repairs...

That sounds miserable & frustrating... So sorry! Hope it all works out OK for you. I never realized there is so much diversity in plumbing either.
