    Safe sealant

Okay. This is a hard to find answer, or least for me. I'm trying to find a safe sealant for a rack for my bps. If you can tell me a good brand/item please and thank you.. I found this Thompson's water seal? Would this work?

I'm assuming that you're talking about sealing the wood that the rack itself is made of?

I would say that a VOC free paint or sealer is the safest bet. Talk to your local hardware store and see what they recommend?

    I'd use something like this.

It's supposed to be completely animal safe, but it is super expensive.

I agree, you want a "no VOC" product for pet safety, plus it's nicer for you to work with too. ("VOC" means "volatile organic compounds" fyi).

That "Kennel Seal" isn't so bad (price-wise), price is for a gallon of product. Worth it, IMO. I've used a similar sealant but many years ago, don't recall name.

That kennel seal isn't a bad price. I was thinking this watershield stuff online. With shipping it would prolly be 60+? I think it was. But it's not tested for reptiles but is fine with other animals she said. Once I get paid I'll try to find that kennel seal unless someone knows something better.

And yes, I'm trying to seal the plywood my grandpa used to build it. Make sure it's 100% safe for my babies.
