Yeah, I'm not a bit paranoid or anything
I really would like to go to a good show, though, but it would be hard not to buy anything. I don't need any supplies right now and I sure don't need more animals. Although I can almost hear Deborah whispering to get a Leachie or Chewie
Now I’m really paranoid!

Y’all will have a ball. Feel free to take pictures and share with the rest of us.
Shows are a lot of fun. I’ll be interested in hearing about your impressions of the selection and the show overall. While I do practice caution (if not self control) at the shows, each one is just as exciting as my first. I love seeing all the different species and morphs. It’s a great way to see animals in person and often they are much prettier in person than in photos online.
Other Snakes:
Hudson 1988 1.0 Colombian rainbow; Yang 2002 1.0 Corn snake; Merlin 2000 1.0 Solomon Island ground boa; Kett 2015 1.0 Diamond Jungle Jaguar carpet python; Dakota 2014 0.0.1 Children’s python
Ball pythons:
Eli 1990 1.0 Normal; Buttercup 2015 1.0 Albino; Artemis 2015 0.1 Dragonfly; Orion 2015 1.0 Banana Pinstripe; Button 2018 1.0 Blue Eyed Lucy; Piper 2018 0.1 Piebald; Belle 2018 0.1 Lemonblast; Sabrina 2017 0.1 Mojave; Selene 2017 0.1 Banana Mojave; Loki 2018 1.0 Pastel Mystic Potion; Cuervo 2018 1.0 Banana Piebald; Claude 2017 1.0 Albino Pastel Spider; Penelope 2016 0.1 Lesser

Re: ROLL CALL: Who's attending New England Reptile Expo, January 6?
Hey, I am “MR Snake’s” son. Is there anything I should be looking for in this reptile show? Since this will be my first snake, I would like to start learning what I can during this show.

I’d say for your first show and with the plan y’all have in place, take your time and look at all the displays you can. Make notes about what specific animals interest you, what species, and the price, then compare with other sellers at the show. For example you might like the look of a specific color or pattern morph that might not be the normal wild type look for the species. Most breeders will let you take photos, so you could take a picture of the animals that interest you and get business cards for those breeders. As a suggestion, take a pen along so you can write on the business card what animal they had that you liked. This also gives you the chance to talk one on one with the sellers, as well as do some research on them later to see what kind of reputation they have.
I’m a huge fan of ball pythons, which is why I have 10 of them, no two of the same morph. However I also have a redtail boa, corn snake, Solomon Island ground boa, and Colombian rainbow boa. In years past, I’ve also kept Cuban boas and a few different carpet pythons. Each species has different traits, and each animal has their own personality. I believe MR Snakes has mentioned ball pythons, but the larger shows will have good selections of many types of animals. You also need to think about what you want from your pet...do you want to handle it or are you happy with a display only animal, do you mind if it hides all the time or do you want a more active species.

50/50 I'll be going.
I'll advise shortly more definitively, what I'll be wearing, and where we can meet, etc. if I do go.
If I am able to make it, looking forward to seeing you Craig, and meeting you and the family, Mr. Snakes.
