Is Kayuadi Dwarf or Super Dwarf retic?
I've seen and heard much mixed information about this topic and I can't seem to find consensus anywhere yet.
Are there an official stances in the reticulated python community on the following?
Question 1
Is a 50-100% Kayuadi considered a dwarf or super dwarf?
Question 2
How would you classify the hatchlings from a pair like this.. Sire 37.5% Kayuadi + Dam 100% Kalatoa?
50% SD 18.75% D
or
68.75% SD
Question 3
On Morphmarket, is the Super Dwarf gene generally understood as 50% or greater of Madu, Kalatoa, and Kayuadi?
Or some other standard?
Thanks in advance for straightening me out

I believe the general rule is 50% or greater then it can be called super dwarf... It's a grey area really, it could be 50% mainland tiger to and end up 16'+
1.0 75% SD retic .... 6ft Hector cb17 1.1kg
0.1 coastal X ij carpet... Hielo cb15 8kg
1.1 crested gecko Vinnie + Mable

Re: Is Kayuadi Dwarf or Super Dwarf retic?
I understand that to be SD or D it needs to be 50% or more. And I understand that SD can contribute to D %. For example, a 25% super dwarf 25% dwarf can be considered a dwarf because its 50% dwarf, but it cannot be considered a super dwarf.
However, what is unclear even after listening to Garret, is if Kayuadi is SD or D.
Garret seems to suggest that Kayuadi = D, but I've seen many places were Kayuadi = SD.

Well - a Kayuadi retic - is usually considered to be part of the jampeanus sub-species. As for it being a super dwarf or a dwarf? It is my understanding that it is usually considered as super dwarf, all be it one of the larger localities.
So as for the answer to question #2 - the babies would be 68.75% SD (18.75% Kayuadi, 50% Kalatoa).
