What is this?
Does anyone know what this could be? It's only on his neck. He shed last week and has been eating regularly.

Was his shed whole or in pieces? I've seen something similar after my Pastave Bee had a wonky shed once, she just kinda had wonky scales for a little while. Granted she also likes to slither away from things backwards a lot, she's an odd one (read: she's part spider, lol). It didn't seem to effect her and she's been fine since.
I'd say they'll lay right eventually. I consider it to be the human equivalent of a bad hair day, so a bad scale day?

Re: What is this?
His shed was pretty rough this time, I had to help him with his tail and he got his body in pieces.
Funny you mention the sliding backwards thing because he does that all the time!

Just some scales folded back ("wonky") & I agree, should normal out in time...nothing to worry about...aka "bad hair day"!

This happens all the time with white snakes, it’s blatantly obvious but not so much with the darker morphs. Odin my Super Mojave pastel has the same thing happen all the time

Definitely agree. I notice any issues with my BEL's scales way more easily than our other snakes.
