    BP won’t poop

    Hey there,
So my almost 1 year old male pastel (26 of December) didn’t poop for like 1 or 2 months. He ate the whole time once per week (Saturday is feeding day), expect once or twice that I skipped a meal.
Right now he looks like a ballon to me (not too big thou) and doesn’t have redness on his body, the stomach feels soft not hard. Last shed- 12 of October (doesn’t look like he’s shedding now).
Is it normal? Should I do something?

    Setup info-
    plastic tube, underneath heat pad.
    Hot side- 90f ~32c
    Cold side- 75f ~24c

I only ran into that a couple few times for as long as I can remember. They get so fat at the back end it starts looking scary. What has worked for me when the scenario pops up. I run water in a bathtub around 90-92 degrees not to much water but enough the snake can keep it’s head above the water and enough it’s body is covered and can swim around a bit. Works every time and boy are they happy to be relieved. I usually keep them in around 20-30 minutes.

I agree with above. A nice warm soak will often coax that deuce out. Your boy has the infamous "sausage butt" and would likely appreciate the relief.

A warm soak or let him roam on your bed with clean sheets.
Either one will get him to drop that load.

Another trick is to let them crawl into your shirt for a while (with you still in it, of course!). More than one way to "inspire" a snake.

But the "swimming" motion in warm tub water is truly the best, especially for clean up.

By the way, if the warm water "swim" fails to solve the problem, gently palpate the cloacal area for any hard lumps (like a marble of any size) that might be
blocking. It's not common, but some snakes form a urate "stone" & may need help (& possibly from a vet) to safely expel it & relieve the overall back-up of
    waste.
