Have Had my BP for a Year Now

Hi! I'm just here to gush that I'm a happy snake owner who has had his snake since November 27th last year. It was a bit of a rocky start since I got him so close to the winter months, which meant his first shed was a flaky one. Change in substrate cleared that up quickly.

He's a bit over two feet long now and weighs close to a pound, dancing around ~450 grams. His actual age is a year and three months, and I got him the day he turned exactly three months old. He's a banana and I love him dearly.

I was so scared I was going to mess up somewhere and he'd get sick, but he's been perfectly healthy this whole time!

Also, quick question to other long-time owners: since he's a growing boy, I find he's growing out of his rat sizes faster than I can feed them to him. He's on weaned rats that I actually just bought not too long ago, so I have several months worth left. I'm afraid he'll outgrow them while I still have a decent amount left. How do you guys deal with this?

First off, congrats on the "birthday"
As for the feeding problem, I feed live to my BP, so I don't know how this would work with f/t, but if I can't find proper prey for Pylox, she'll gladly take multiple mice/rats. As long as the total mass is roughly equal to what you should be feeding your BP, it should be fine in my experience. Getting your BP to eat multiple, well, that's another story

Feed 2 rats until you run out and then feed 1 appropriate size rat.
