    Automatic misting

Anyone using an automatic mister? Now that winter is here I'm starting to fight the humidity a bit. It's been getting down in the low 40's after sitting all night or during the day while at work even after pumping in a little extra to try and compensate. I was thinking about getting an auto mister. I was hoping that would solve that and also keep it more consistent. I started leaving a damp hand towel on her hide which has helped a bit, but I think it would be nice to just have a more autonomous setup. Do they run on a timer or are they controlled with a hydrometer? Also any brand recommendations? I saw a zoo-med for around 100 bucks but I wanted to get some opinions before pulling the trigger.

    Re: Automatic misting

I’m running the Evergreen Reptile Humidifier controlled by a separate hydrometer. Not an inexpensive setup but I’m using a larger glass terrarium for enclosure and like the set and forget simplicity of this setup.
