    Bob Mailloux @ Sandfire Dragon Ranch happens to breed them, so we picked up an extra male that he had. Now I'm on a quest to find a female!

    Very cool.. I wasn't aware that they were being captive bred.

    I'd look into getting one, but I don't think my ma would appreciate a laughing racket going on all day. Her little zebra finch irritates her with his noise.. lol

    Just out of curiosity.. are they tamable/personable?

    LOL ... Way kool! ... I just read the little guy a bedtime story last night that had a kookaburra in it ... he giggled everytime I said kookaburra ... but of course I was having a lot of fun saying it!

    Now I'm gonna get dragged up there for sure!!
