Hi everyone,
For the past week or so, my 3 month old kingsnake has been inactive, hiding, and when I tried to dig him up for feeding, he became extremely aggressive and all I got were defensive strikes. Is he is shed? That was my first thought, but the last time he shed I hardly noticed until I found the skin--that is, I didn't notice any behavioral changes. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there something else bothering him that could be causing the aggression? The humidity has dropped lately, but it's still around 50% (something to note: my ball python had an unusually difficult shed this past week, maybe hydrometers are off?). If he is in shed, he's cleared up.
Thanks!
