    another shedding question

Ror's been acting a bit strange lately. Not very active during the night and hes been soaking pretty much constantly for the past 3 or 4 days. I looked at his eyes yesterday and they are cloudy. Pretty obvious hes about to start his first shed with me. his body doesn't look blue yet so how long do you think it will take him to shed? i have his humidy up to 70-75% constantly and I'm making sure he always has clean water to soak in. I guess my main question is how long does this process take and is there anything else i should be doing?

Also i am getting a new bigger cage today and will hopefully have it set up and ready by tomorrow. I'm assuming i should wait till after the shed to transfer him because i know i'd like to be somplace known and comfortable for this process. is my assumption correct?

It's really variable from ball python to ball python based on the individual snake and the environment it's being kept it ... could be as short as 7 days or as long as 21 (and in rare cases longer).

    Good luck!

Moving is going to stress him out either way ... may as well just do it. If he stops eating for any real length of time, just move him back.
