I know! He’s hit a big growth spurt over the last few months. I ran out of rodents but still had a huge bag of frozen chicks which, until now, my snakes were too small to eat without me hacking them up first. It could be coincidental, but it definitely seems like he grows faster on fowl than rodent!
Might be time to space out his feedings, too...before he gets fat and everyone judges me a terrible mom😂😂
How’s your little one?! He looks positively stunning!

I also think my boy is prepping to shed. I haven't seen him hanging out in his enclosure for the past 4-5 days and he's normally always out especially at night. Can't wait to get some post shed pics.
He’s currently eating every 14-18 days. The first time I fed him a whole chick (without removing the head or something) was in early July. I was nervous since he seems so skinny, but Chris assured me it would be fine. He survived and has been slamming them ever since. They definitely leave a noticeable lump in him, but it’s gone after 2 days or so. That scrub metabolism is CRAY!
Cant wait to see his colors post shed. Seems you have no trouble handling him!
