Usually once a week, but sometimes more if I'm bored!
When I first started keeping snakes and only had 1-2 snakes total, I used to handle them daily except feeding/digesting days. Now my handling sessions are spread out among other snakes.

That varies animal to animal, and week to week.
But since you said BP specifically, I handle Tyson anywhere from once to four times a week. On average 20-30 minutes each handling session.

All my snakes, unless digesting, get handled and cleaned up after daily. I don't have kids or a family though. My animals get most of my time outside of work. Now if I can find a sexy exotics vet to date, we can all dream cant we? LOL

Once a week or every other week usually for only about 10 to 15 minutes.

How long is too long ?
I was watchingCops (or live-PD, whatever) where this lady was walking around with a BP, shewas walking around with it in a sack. Had it all over the cops, and all kindsof other bs I’m just inside like... Why aren’t the cops arresting her foranimal cruelty...? No but seriously, she said she has a terrarium at home whenshe is not out with her for hours sometimes almost every day.
This wasnot a lady who had all her stuff together obviously if she is on Cops lol… butit was claimed to have been in her care for 2 years now, it was given to her,and it was pretty big (maybe 12-1250gs ez, & about 42-45”) and healthy looking...I guess my question as it pertains to this topic would be..
I handledmy Spell a lot when she was a baby, 2-3xs a week at least 30-45mins.. she is 2and some months rn.. and the sweetest chill.. not anncy just wrap and relaxsnake I have ever had..
Hollow, was not in my care as a baby, idk about most of his handling but I know my lilbro didn’t do what I was asking of him as Hollow is anncy AF.. no chill andpending his attitude, he is hiss’n like my noodle Lambeau.. I have handled himbefore, he chill after you let him just run it out rq, I know if he was handledas I suggested initially, he’d be much more chill when it came to bringing himout. I will work on Lam as he’s still a baby and I will find out the hard wayif I’m going to stick with docile females or these snippy males moving forwardlol.. but now that I am settled I will work on my boys.. maybe Hollow is atthat age now that I think about it…

I DONT handle mine on the feeding day and 48 hours after. Other than that every day for about 30 minutes

I give my little guy at least an hour a day unless he ate or is shedding, Crowley loves doing his missions on his play stand.

I have quite a few, so probably every week or so, since I try to hold one a day.
