    Wondering what's her deal?

    Little baffle I fed her last night after a hour or so I checked on her she had a small bulge an was still acting hunger with slight aggression.. almost too the point we're she was going to possibly strike at the glass..
    This is the first time she has acted like this...

    She eats once a week xl guinea pig .

    Oh yes, that "lingering" feed-mode...it's pretty normal. Just like us, actually, when we eat our food quickly, it takes a while for our stomach to tell our
    brain that we're actually full...too often, we keep eating & then too late, we realize we're "stuffed". Just ignore your snake's plea for more food, she'll
    probably calm down, though some snakes take longer than others to be convinced.

    And IF you cave & give another rodent, your snake could easily regurgitate, because adding food this long after the initial meal usually results in too
    little digestive enzymes to get the job done & they hurl it ALL back up. So don't fall for it...

    Might need to up her food size. Not sure how big she is but Caesar who is now about 8 feet or so eats either a jumbo rat or a 2XL guinea pig every 2 weeks. And by the end of the 2 weeks, he is out in force looking for dinner lol. Never strikes or anything like that but is vocal about wanting dinner be it thumping the shelf all night or shoving a hide around on the cage floor.
