Hi all. I am new to the forum and wish to let you all know a bit about me. I am a ball python fanatic and unfortunately only allowed my passion for these beautiful reptiles materialise very late in life. As a child growing up in South Africa I was always passionate abot wild life and dreamt of being a vet but eventually ended up in the legal profession. I have kept and still do, a variety of birds, spiders and snakes. My biggest passion lies with ball pythons and I currently have 3 in my collection but intend to expand my collection very soon.

I have a male spider (Castro), a banana-cinnamon female (Gucci) as well as a vannila-pastel female (Havannah). I also have a male milk snake named Tupac.
I would love to eventually breed my ball pythons once they are in prime breeding condition and health.

Being in the legal profession I also take a very keen interest in the legalities surrounding our hobby; in particular the keeping of exotic reptiles, breeding exotic reptiles and the export/import of exotic reptiles. In South Africa we face the added challenge of the rules and regulations not being uniform accross all provinces and what may be legal in one province may not be in another. I look forward to discussing this issue with other forum members who may endure similar frustrations and legal challenges either in South Africa or Internationally.

I have read everything I could lay my hands on to ensure I can keep my babies in optimal conditions and prime health. I have gained invaluable information following the advise shared and articles published on this forum and will continue to avidly read and apply all the information your experienced members share.

kind regards,
Greg
