yeah the Vanilla Scream is an ALS but what is surprising me more is the serious lack of blushing on this animal. Enchi Leo Pastels commonly have some blushing from the belly and throughout. Leopard is more a bold pattern gene and i think the darkening is from Fire/Vanilla. really interesting b/c i woulda expected more pattern distortion rather than a darkening affect. also there doesn't seem to be any impact on the head stamp either. only way to know for sure is to hold it back, grow it and prove it.
cool BP for sure. good job HQBz!

The darkening is what originally made me think double enchi. I am learning the hard way that in order to really emphasize enchi I need to add pastel. The odd thing is that a lot of people suggested fire complex to lighten up my enchis, but this seems to go the other way. Not that there is anything wrong with dark snakes if that is what you are chasing. I'm having my best luck with phantom/pastel/enchi combos for the coloration I like right now. I'm going to add fire this coming season. Hopefully I do not get darker.
Honest, I only need one more ...

The headstamp, or lack of impact therein, was what made a me question myself when guessing vanilla or fire

looks like the Enchi Leo Vanilla has a ringer! nice! also i would like to see the Enchi Leo Vanilla and Pastel Enchi Leo Vanilla side by side. it;s so wierd how the head stamp is so misleading between these two esp. for someone not fmailar w/ the genes. u would think the blushed one has Pastel and the one w/ an actual stamp has a gene know for head stamps (Fire/BlackEL and YB complex).
great clutch!

Lol thanks. I’ll do a side by side when I get a chance. Most likely Sunday or Monday. Keep an eye out for that!
