OP, I’m new to the boa world but here’s my new boy, Leonard. He’s a 2018 pokigron suriname red tailed boa from Rio Bravo bloodlines. Dad was originally a holdback of Gus Rentfro before he got out of the boa business.

I’ve only had him a couple weeks but so far I love him.

Looks good and yup, boas are really a different game than retics. Much more slower paced for us old guys like me Weird thing though, Caesar has been really laid back recently. Not sure if he is going into shed or what but he is being an angel like when he was a little baby.

I like some speckling too. Too clean can be a little dull.

    Best/cleanest BCC locality

Thanks for all the info and pictures! I’m going to think about it for awhile and research the different localities or maybe I’ll just get another BCI but if I do go for a BCC I would probably go for a Suriname or Peruvian.
