Hot weather in MN is for the snakes!

I do enjoy the brief season of heat we get and sometimes it combines perfectly, warm, cloudy, I drag the poor snakes outside for some natural light photos, much to their disgust. Just the bloods out so far

Just wow! Those are some gorgeous blood pythons.

Where in Minnesota are you? That's home to me, even if it's 1500 miles away.

I'm up north in Int'l Falls, practically in Canada. Nice collection of critters you have!

Oh, so you're in the GORGEOUS part of the state. As to be expected, I grew up in Minneapolis suburbs. Thank you for the compliment - I'm loving your collection as well!

Can I ask how you manage winter for your snakes?

Re: Hot weather in MN is for the snakes!

I've got a dedicated reptile room and run an oil filled heater, plus a humidifier to keep things nice and tropical up there, it's my winter escape! My cages all have rhp and flexwatt but it's easier to heat the room.
