48" Neodesha Cages in 3 shelf rack, should I buy?
I was shopping around for pvc cages, and found a great deal on craigslist for some top of the line cages, which come together as a 3-pack and the holding racks. They are 4 foot long cages, designed for Boas, but I would like to move my large adult ball pythons into these one day.
I really don't need them now, but the deal is too good to pass up. I looked online to see what this package would cost me brand new... including shipping $1,650.00!!! (about a $1,050 plus $600 shipping, these are very large and heavy cages and a large rack.)
I offered $500 for the whole setup, if I come pick them up, and she said yes! So that is a $1,150 savings, if I can just get a pickup truck setup this weekend.
So before I go ahead with this purchase, which is virtually a no-brainer, I would like to hear opinions on the classic Neodesha cages. PLEASE! What do you think of these? They look really tough, no seams like most of the competition and easy to clean. Honestly they look far superior to Animal plastics, Boamaster, boaphile, PVC cages and the like.

I’m going to say yes, At one point I had 14 of these. In my opinion they are great tanks, hold humility, easy to clean. I don’t think you’ll regret it. I think you’ll be very happy. I sometimes rent a pickup truck from a locale home improvement store, you can usually get some sort of small truck for around 20$ to 30$. Go get them, bro. Their racks alone I believe cost more then that!

At that price you really can't go wrong, even if you decide they are not for you, you'll always be able to resell and get your money back.
I'd definitely do it.
If you're looking for a truck to rent I'd hurry due to the long weekend it may be tough to find something

48" Neodesha Cages in 3 shelf rack, should I buy?
The big advantage over other cages is the complete lack of seams, smooth corners and tilted design. Looks amazingly tough and easy to clean.

I've heard lots of good about Neodesha enclosures.
I've been looking at a few on CL myself, but haven't come across any deals like you found!!
I say heck yes!! Buy em!!!
Like said above, you can always sell them if you don't like them and possibly even for a profit. I'm jealous!!

Love them. Had 2 of those units..6 cages. Loved every thing about them. Have one 36 inch one now. Had to sell the other 6 back when I moved.
I would buy that in a heartbeat!

If that first pic is of the cages you are buying there is another bonus, they are clean!
Though cages are uncommon on my area CL, when they do show up they are always dirty and gnarlly looking. Sometimes they are missing glass or some of the glass is cracked.
What a killer deal for you. Good luck!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

I'd have gotten them already - but I have a pickup.
I'd also get a 41-qt rack for the BP's and put some nice boas in the Neodoshas.

I already have a 56 quart rack for my ball pythons. This is for the big female breeders to be on display for the future.
I like big enclosures, 41 quarts is for garter snakes. Lol
