This is normal... contrary to popular belief they do occasionally move. Lol

She actually looks like she's thinking "got milk?" If her meal was on the small side (& that's fine, it's better actually than over-feeding), but she may still be in
what we call "feed mode". Don't fall for that cute little snakey-face though, she does NOT need "dessert"!

    Perfectly normal.

I would consider ditching the half log hides though. BPs rely very heavily on security and those hides don't offer the security they desire. I suggest cave style hides with single openings. Your snake would probably benefit from more clutter (fake plants, etc...) as well as "blacking out" the sides and back of the enclosure.

I agree totally! ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ -what he said! I use a few "half logs" but only as decor, they still need real "secure feeling" hides.

    Re: Question

We have two ball pythons. One only sits with his head sticking out when he is hungry. The other only sits with her head sticking out right after she eats. Funny sneks...

    Perfectly normal in my experience.

My little guy peeks out now and again, whether or not he has just fed. Perfectly normal.
