    Hope you can find the owner, hopefully it wasn't just abandoned, so sad that some people would just leave their pets behind like that. To me it might as well be the same thing as leaving your child behind.

    May want to also contact local animal control to report the found animal as that may be the place someone would go to report the lost animal (assuming it wasn't abandoned or released).

    I'd just keep him. I would mention to animal control that you found what looks like a very young platinum retic and leave your number. If someone comes looking, then they can call you. I wouldnt go actively looking as it's not your loss and you never know, someone might say "oh wow!! You found my retic!!" when actually it wasnt his, he just wanted a snake for free. If someone really lost it and is really worried, they will go looking lol.
