Well done for rescuing him. I'm sure he'll be well cared for now
He looks lovely. I love seeing pics of snakes eating (and love watching my own eat - and today is feeding day )
Is it just the pic, or is he coming into shed? (Thought his eyes looked a bit blue in one of the pics).
How come he landed in the police station anyway?

Re: hungry hungry hipp...uh, snake :)
Now that he's been turned over to you, he can't be claimed right?
Poor thing. I'm glad that he's eating for you. Good luck with his treatment too. How long will it take to get him healthy roughly. I guess what I'm asking is how long a treatment to clear up his belly?

Re: hungry hungry hipp...uh, snake :)
now that i have it it cant be claimed. it was found on a balvony outside, which is how it ended up at the PD. it is 7.5' long. treatment probly will take around 6wks for the belly id imagine. now i foun some sort of bugs in the cage, but they arent mites, more like fleas, and i just think its because of the reptibark that it was on. i soaked him alst night and there was nothing but skin in the water, and he is soaking right now. he is in shed.

Here's the pics I should've been looking for Jason.
He looks good, not as bad as I imagined. Glad he's eating for you.
Keep up the good work and let me know what the vet says, new meds etc.

Nice! I concur on the impending shed - nice pink belly action going on there.
He's in much better hands now I am sure and obviously with a healthy appetite.
Keep us posted on how he's doing!
