I’m so proud - of my snake & myself!

It really feels good to see Bella benefitting from my learning how to perfect her husbandry. She just had her second shed today since I’ve had her. Her humidity was not high enough during her first shed, but she got it all off except for one eye cap and a piece on top of her head. After doing research, I decided against trying to help her remove the shed myself so as not to cause her stress, and just perfect her conditions for her second shed, allowing her to get the stuck shed off herself - which she did! Thanks to this forum for seeing how to properly set up a glass enclosure and maintain humidity levels, plus trying out some sphagnum moss inside her hides to make them “humid hides,” she shed this time around in only two pieces, and the old stuck shed is gone! I know it’s not groundbreaking, but I’m so happy she’s healthy and thriving in her enclosure, thanks to all the help and information on this site. Check her out!

Re: I’m so proud - of my snake & myself!

Thanks, everyone! Well, as far as I know, she’s just a normal – I got her from a pet store that had her labeled as such. She’s my only snake, and I don’t know much about morphs, but does she look like something else/combination of things?

Looks a bit more than a normal to me, but I'm the last person you want to ask for this stuff Nonetheless, she is gorgeous! Great job

Dont think thats a normal, mainly with the pattern on the center of her back, but still a gorgeous little snake all the same! Congrats to you two!
