    Earth Day Herping in Oregon

Flew across the country to Oregon to visit my mom and as soon as I got to her house I couldn't help myself... I had to start flipping over rocks and logs. She has a total of 43 acres which offers just about every type of ecosystem Oregon has on it. I only got to spend about an hour looking around, but I was able to find some interesting little animals.

I'll be on the lookout for more during the next week while I'm here. I really hope to find a couple scorpions or a rubber boa, but any find is always exciting.

If anyone has any tips while I'm here, please share. I will update as I find more!
