    Eco-earth

I'm sure there is a thread addressing it somewhere but I looked for a little bit then got lazy and decided to start my own. I use Aspen right now and mist to keep humidity up, but it's still lower than I think it should be (about 50%) so I was going to switch and try the eco-earth bricks that you soak in water. I'm just a little concerned that it may be too moist. I've never used it so I really don't know, but it just looks that way. Anybody have any issues using it? I watched a feeding video one time and it looked like the snake was eating a lot of the substrate along with the mouse!

I'm honestly not a fan of eco earth for snakes and this is purely my preference. I would recommend something like coco husk.

In the wild they eat dirt with meals as well so it's not really an issue unless it's enough to impact them.

I use eco earth, it works great foe humidity for me but it can get rather messy. I prefer the bagged eco earth over the bricks.

I use Eco Earth, holds humidity well. I mix it with ReptiBark though.

It really depends on the species of snake too. What kind if snake are you considering using it for?
