whenever we go to take her out of her cage she comes to us if we wait so that she can be held by us, do you think that balls enjoy being handled?

I do not believe that they enjoy being held. The "enjoyment" of anything is a human emotion that I just don't believe ball pythons are capable of. Snakes have some basic instincts that they live by; the need to eat, the need to feel secure, the need to propgate their species, the need to find suitable habitat, and the not to not be eaten by a predator. If your animals seems like it is "coming to you", it is more than likely just looking for an environment outside of it's enclosure and you are nothing more than a means to get it there.

There is something to be said for a snake and keeper that can share time together without the snake being tense and stressed. There's an obvious level of trust there that is as close to a bond that a ball python is going to make.
